The shelf itself is well made and I have no qoute with the quality.

I bought it for a monitor stand and picked this product specifically because all of the photos showed it being used as one. When I got it and set it up I realized that it is as a matter of fact quite high for a monitor stand.

Proper positioning of a monitor has your eyes being level with the top of the monitor. And with this shelf, the bigger the monitor the worse the problem.

Now I'm stuck with it and have made it work by raising my chair but it's a minute uncomfortable.
